In honor of Christmas this week, today's episode is all about my favorite mom in the Bible: Mary!
We tend to put her on a pedestal…this fabulous virgin, chosen by God for the most important role in the history of the world…but she was actually just a young woman…scared, humble, and wondering how she could ever measure up.
But it’s not Mary that makes this story so incredible. It’s the way God interacts with Mary…through an angel…that is actually a powerful picture of how he views you and me. And it’s a message that we, as moms, really need to know in the very fabric of our being.
