What did you dream about before you became a mom? Did you want to travel the world? Start your own business?  Maybe you wanted to be a missionary or travel the country in an RV?

When we become moms, our natural instinct is to sacrifice our own wants, needs, and desires for the sake of our children. But at some point we may find ourselves asking… what about my dreams?

Whether you work outside the home, work from home, or stay home with your kids, as moms we often feel guilty for having needs, emotions, and especially dreams and goals of our own.

But here’s the thing: God placed those dreams in your heart. They aren’t meant to tease you or distract you, and they don’t have to come at the expense of your children. Jesus wants to open doors for you to walk into the things He has called you to do!

In today’s episode, I am going to share 7 compelling reasons that you should still dream, no matter where you are in your motherhood journey!

Episode 13 Takeaways:

+It isn’t selfish to have your own dreams.

+You were created for greatness, you aren’t JUST a mom.

+You can dream big, set goals, & influence the world while raising kids.

+Having dreams or goals prepares you for an empty nest.

+Dreaming with God shows your kids how to dream with God on their own.
